That initial welcome email you send to new users has a lot of work to do.

It has to convince them they made the right choice, provide value, and point them in the right direction. Your welcome email can make or break your entire onboarding flow. It’s important to get it right.

Each week, I’ll take a welcome email from some of your favourite SaaS products. I’ll then do a teardown, pointing out what works and what doesn’t. Sometimes I’ll even rewrite the email to show you how it should be done.

You can then take these tips and apply them to your own welcome emails, and even your other onboarding emails too.
